Trinity Sports Foundation – Youth Play Day Recap

Hundreds of Kids Enjoyed a Great Day of Play at the Trinity Sports Foundation Sports Complex on November 18, 2017!

Despite a cold and breezy day, hundreds of kids came out to enjoy a great day of play in our safe Christian environment.

Partner charities, including the YMCA, Safe Haven, Mission Arlington, and The Salvation Army, helped to bring kids between the ages of 5 to 17 to enjoy the day.

In addition, the Arlington Police Department brought kids from difficult neighborhoods and an entire busload joined us from the Lynn Hale Elementary School.

Participants were provided both breakfast and a great lunch, each generously provided by Outback Steakhouse. When the children saw the steaks, mashed potatoes, and bread, their eyes lit up… right before they “ate up,” of course!

Many of these children would not otherwise have an opportunity like this; so many thanks go out to those who have supported us financially! And what really makes this fun for the kids is the encouraging participation and love shown by the many volunteers for the Arlington High School Girls Soccer Team and students from UTA. We hope you enjoy all our photos in our photo gallery and you will see why this is such a special day for all who participate.

More Play Days are planned for 2018, so stay tuned!
