Bill Bowie, Chair
Bill believes we should live our faith, and in doing so vow to impact the lives of others in a positive way, while treating everyone with respect. He and his wife Sharon commit much of their time, talents, and treasures to their Church and Community.
Bill is Co-Founder and C.O.O. of Resin Technology, inc. – a packaging and plastics consultancy to Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
Sharon and Bill live in Arlington Texas on beautiful Lake Arlington. They have three wonderful, grown children – Jacqueline and son in-law Joe Starnes (Washington DC), Jennifer and son in-law Steven Reynolds (Dallas) and granddaughter Jocelyn, and son Eric (Euless).
Claire Wheeler, Vice Chair
Claire Wheeler, with her husband Ron, own and operate Wheeler Advertising, headquartered in Arlington with 5 offices specializing in automotive and RV marketing nationally.
In addition, she and her team of social media experts provide social and other marketing services to many local non-profit organizations. This includes work with the Arlington/Mansfield area Salvation Army & North Texas Youth Education Town (YET), The Arlington Police Foundation & the Trinity Sports Foundation. Individually, Claire donates her time to organizations aiding local families and youth, including serving as the Vice Chair and Marketing/Events team leader for the Trinity Sports Foundation. She also serves on the Salvation Army Arlington Mansfield area Advisory Board and is the 2017/2018 Vice Chair for the Salvation Army, YET Annual Inspiring Hope Luncheon.
Lynn Phillips, Secretary
Lynn spent years attending her son and daughter’s various sport events. Weekends were filled with football, volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer games. Now that her children are grown her passion is to help give that team sport experience to other children who might not otherwise have that opportunity. Lynn serves as the secretary for the Trinity Sports Foundation. Her day job is the Director of Product Management for YPO, a not for profit international organization of CEOs focused on leadership and lifelong learning. Lynn previously served as the Treasurer of the Pantego Christian Academy Booster Club. Lynn lives in Arlington, TX and attends Trinity United Methodist church where she is the Chairman of the Endowment Committee and a member of the Finance Committee.
Brenda Davidson, Board at-large rep
Brenda Davidson is Program Director for the PAC-3 Production Programs for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control. She has been in this assignment since April 2010. She initially came to the PAC-3 program in January 2008 as the Command Launch System (CLS) Program Manager and was responsible for the FY 2009 Proposal effort. In January 2009, she assumed responsibility for the PAC-3 Missile program. During her tenure on the program, she has successfully increased the missile and launcher modification production rates to meet the growing demand. She also led the production team through the transition into production of the most recently developed variant, the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE). The PAC-3 Program has annual sales of approximately $1.2B. Prior to joining the PAC-3 program, she was the Financial Manager for Tactical Missile Programs. She has diversified knowledge in accounting, auditing government contracting regulations, contracts, financial management, and strategic planning. She was responsible for financial performance of Army Tactical Missiles Systems, Combat Maneuver Systems, Kinetic Energy Missile, and NetFires. She had a staff working in the areas of contracts, finance/cost reporting, and master planning that oversaw the execution of $1.7B in Government contracts. Brenda also served as Director of Business Management for the NetFires, LLC which was a joint venture between LM and Raytheon.
Brenda came to LM in June 1988. She worked at Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas for ten years as a Subcontract Auditor. In May 1998, she joined Missiles and Fire Control. She has held the positions of Contract Termination Specialist; Contract Administrator, Financial Manager, and Strategic Planning, Sr. Manager. Brenda is a graduate from West Texas A&M with a B.B.A. in Accounting and earned a Master of Science in Management from Southern Methodist University in 2010. She is a Board Certified Public Accountant and Certified Professional Contracting Manager. Brenda received the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara award for her contribution to the Artillery branch in 2016. She is active in her community and serves on the Board of Directors for Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA Board and Trinity Sports Foundation. Brenda has been married to Kyle for 33 years and they live in Mansfield, Texas. They have two sons, Robert and Chris. Robert graduated from University of Texas in Arlington and has a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology. He currently lives in Allen, Texas and works for S3. Chris lives in Dallas and works for Lockheed Martin Missiles Fire Control. Chris graduated in May 2012 with a degree in Operations Management.
Cody Thrift, TSF Ministry Chair
Cody’s passion for sports and working with youth drove him to join Trinity Sports Foundation. Cody’s focus has become working with the underprivileged youth of Arlington through planned TSF community events Cody also helped start the Trinity Sports Commitee, a committee formed to bring youth together through sports and ministry events. Cody is married to his wife Jenna Thrift, and has two kids Cade and Tyler.

Lisa H. Jamieson is experienced in all facets of estate planning and probate law, is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a Certified Public
Accountant. Ms. Jamieson’s practice includes sophisticated business and estate tax planning, administration of dependent and independent estates, guardianships for incapacitated adults, and
counseling and representing trustees. She is licensed in Texas, having graduated from Baylor University School of Law.
Along with the time she spends supporting the Trinity Sports Foundation, Lisa has committed a considerable amount of time in many civic and professional organizations. She currently serves on
the Board of United Community Centers Foundation, Advocates for Special People, The Alzheimer’s Association of North Central Texas, and the B&G Clubs of Arlington.

Mike has a Masters of Science Degree in School Administration from Texas A&M University – Kingsville. He earned his Bachelors of Arts in Teaching from Sam Houston State University with a double major in History and Physical Education. Areas of certification from the Texas Education Agency include the following: Mid-Management Administration, Composite Social Studies (Secondary), History (Secondary), Physical Education (Secondary). He have received certification and training in the following areas: Instructional Leadership (Region 20), Boys Town Intervention (Region 10), Mediation and Dispute Resolution (SMU), PDAS Implementation(Region 10), Principal Assessment(Region 5), Gifted and Talented(Region 10).
His interests include history, sports and carpentry and enjoys a good game of billiards or washers. He has been married to his wife Shirley for over 35 years and they have two children, Taylor and Jaclyn.

Promoting Christian Base sports activities, Community Teamwork, and compassion for kids and their families in the Arlington DFW area. Sherri Isom serves on the Trinity Sports Foundation board where she is instrumental in fundraising, event planning, and designated Prayer Warrior. Her passion is helping kids to have all the advantages they need to succeed not limited by finances or circumstances. She and her husband have lived in Arlington and have been members of Trinity United Methodist Church for over 30 years.
Sharon Bowie, Marketing & Events
Shari Bowie is a community volunteer with a passion for non-profits whose Christian values focus on children and families. Shari currently serves on the following boards and committees: The Salvation Army Arlington-Mansfield Advisory Council as Secretary, Christmas Committee member, Inspiring Hope Luncheon Committee member and Family Life Center Committee member; Arlington/Mansfield YMCA Board member; Trinity Sports Foundation Board member and Waterwood Village Condo Association Board member. Also close to her heart is her church home – Trinity United Methodist Church. Shari has been awarded “Volunteer of the Year” by The Salvation Army. Recently, the YMCA presented Shari and her husband, Bill, with an award to honor their legacy — “The Bill and Shari Bowie Community Leadership Award”. In future years, this award will be presented to outstanding volunteers of the local community. When Shari isn’t focusing on community support, she enjoys time with her family and friends.

Jim Reeves, Marketing & Events
Jim Reeves is a retired award-winning sports columnist who spent 40 years writing for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram before retiring in 2009. He spent another year writing for espn.com and in 2016 saw his first book, Dallas Cowboys: The Legends of America’s Team, published. The book is in its fifth printing. Jim was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1987, is the only sports writer to win the coveted Schieffer School of Journalism National Ethics Award and for the second straight year is one of three finalists for the prestigious J.G. Taylor Spink Award for meritorious baseball writing, which includes a spot in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.
Jim and his wife Karen have been members of TUMC for more than a quarter of a century. Jim has served as Lay Leader, church council president, stewardship campaign leader and on numerous committees, including SPR and finance. Besides writing, he also has a background in broadcast journalism and has been involved in putting together video presentations at Trinity. He and Karen are regular volunteers with Meals on Wheels, Arlington Urban Ministry, the Trinity Sports Foundation and for several pet rescue organizations. They live in Dalworthington Gardens with two granddaughters, four dogs and four cats.

Jerry is a Graduate of Baylor University, and Retired Superintendent of Arlington ISD. He’s served as a Board member of Trinity Sports Foundation, Tarrant County Child Protective Services, Salvation Army, River Legacy Foundation, Arlington Dental Health, North Texas Higher Education Authority, and Arlington Young Life. In addition to his community service roles, Jerry has also served as the Pastor of Mission Arlington Park Lane Apartment Church.

Dr. Dean Posey is the senior pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church in Arlington, Texas. He has been a pastor since 1978, is an author, and has traveled nationally and internationally to preach and teach. As a pastor he has always sought ways to engage the church into the life of the surrounding community. He was one of the founders of the Trinity Sports Foundation so that children and youth in Arlington could have a place to play organized sports in a Christian environment. He and his wife Diana have been married 40 years and have two grown children. He also enjoys playing guitar in the worship band at Trinity.

Mike is a retired FAA aviation (airworthiness-avionics) safety inspector and US Air Force veteran of 34+ years. He happily married Donna Thorn Colin some 44 years ago in Portsmouth, NH at Pease AFB. He is father to 3 successful and faithful adult children and the very proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren, 5 girls & 2 boys ranging in age from 16 to 2. Since retirement, Mike has devoted himself to family, church, friends and community service. Mike has served on the board of trustees at Trinity UMC, currently serves as trustee chair for Arlington Urban Ministries/Nu2U resale and volunteers @ Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County client assistance department. Recently he was the recipient of the “First Rate Living 2017 Extra Mile Award for exemplary service to Arlington’s youth”.
He enthusiastically assists TSF in all facets of fields and equipment
maintenance and enjoys supporting the utilization of church acreage
via sports evangelism.
